Making sure every lead is followed up, they help customers select the right package and then support them every step of the way through the onboarding process. We’re always on the look out for successful salespeople, with a customer-first approach.

Customer Support

Our elite customer support squad are always ready to help, whether a customer wants to upgrade their package or has a problem they need to let us know about. While calling other broadband companies can mean hours of on hold music and being passed around departments, we pride ourselves that our support team always provide a friendly voice live from Blandford and think outside the box to solve our customers’ problems.

Network Planning

Our network planning team set the strategy for where our full fibre network goes next. A talented team of surveyors, planners, project managers and land access negotiators, this department is responsible for the design and planning of our network all the way to our customers’ home or business. They make sure everything is in place for the land we’re going to cross, including the all important paperwork, before the teams in the field break ground.

Network construction and civils

Our network build team work in the great outdoors taking full fibre broadband to even the most remote countryside communities. Taking network build off road to avoid disruptive road closures, they cross farmland and fields using mole-ploughs and directional drills to install fibre (come rain, shine, or sometimes even snow). This team is growing rapidly, so iIf you have an agricultural background or you’re an experienced machine operator that understands the rural environment, get in touch.


Our skilled engineers install and repair our customers’ fibre and wireless broadband connections at their homes and businesses. They combine technical knowhow, engineering experience and fantastic people skills, and are the face of our business for many customers.

In addition our network engineers play a vital role in the growth and maintenance of both our full fibre and wireless networks.


We’re a high-tech and innovative business so our technology team is an exciting place to be. The tech team has a wide remit looking after everything from architecture of our core network, developing and supporting products for our customers (such as VOIP and mesh WiFi), leading the development of business-critical systems such as salesforce and managing internal IT.


Our finance team provides the whole business with sound financial support. At a strategic level their work reporting company performance, commercial analysis and driving improvements to our data is critical to business decision-making. Whether managing reporting, payments or cashflow, the team has an important role to ensure we remain a profitable business.


Our marketing and communications team are there to spread the word about Wessex Internet’s unbeatable connections to the communities we serve. This includes advertising, PR, direct response, digital marketing and managing our website and social channels. They help us attract new customers and deliver a fantastic experience for our existing ones. It’s a varied role supporting major projects and working closely with external project partners and suppliers.

HR and Central Admin

Our HR and central admin team are the backbone of our business looking after HR, procurement, office management and health and safety. Quite frankly, we don’t know what we’d do without them! Whether managing all the recruitment we need for our fast-growing business or making sure we have sufficient stock of all the equipment to build and manage our network, they do it all with a smile and super efficiency.
