Donations for Dorset and Ukrainian families

November 2022 saw members of our team turning out their lofts, garages and spare rooms to support two worthy causes for Ukraine and the local area.
Employees donated their pre-loved items for the Blandford and Stour Rotary Club’s Christmas appeal. Children’s books, toys, games and fancy-dress costumes were among the items that were collected and delivered to Blandford Food Bank in time for Christmas. The goodies will be passed to local charities and Ukrainian families.
Following this, we were invited to help with another campaign - to support the Fill the Truck for Ukraine initiative. Again, the team rallied round and collected camping equipment, dried food, warm clothing and sleeping bags to be taken to the Polish/Ukraine border in a 44-tonne truck at the end of the month. Contributions will help to keep Ukrainian families fed and warm this Winter.
