Best Superfast Broadband, Best Wireless and Best Consumer Customer Service. The Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) annual awards is the longest running and most prestigious Internet industry awards in the UK.
The ISPA Awards recognise ISPs of all shapes and sizes and the shortlist highlights the true breadth of the industry, plus the services that keep the UK at the leading edge of the digital economy. The winners will be announced at the gala ceremony on 7th July.
Speed tests were carried out to identify shortlists for the broadband, hosting and VoIP categories. The results showed Wessex Internet to be the second fastest non-FTTP provider in the UK, and overall 5th fastest UK broadband provider overtaking the likes of Gigaclear and Vodaphone.
Wessex Internet says, “These awards are a true benchmark across our industry and again securing finalist status in 3 important categories shows that we are amongst the best performing providers in the UK. This is down to a committed team of caring experts who know how to design, build and manage our next generation network, as well as very supportive customers who completed surveys and speed tests.”
ISPA Secretary General Nick Lansman said “The companies shortlisted at this year’s ISPAs play a vital role in connecting the UK and this year has an incredible range of companies nominated. We are proud to say that this is the 18th ISPAs and I look forward to finding out the winners at the gala black tie ceremony on 7 July .”
