Supporting Somerset martial arts
by Sally Sommers
On Wednesday 14th December, the Wessex Internet marketing team visited Inifinity Martial Arts in Yeovil to see their students in action on the back of their success at the ISKA World Championships.
Infinity Martial Arts is a leading Freestyle Martial Arts club in Somerset, founded by British, European and 5 times World Champion Joe Hallett. The club offers a wide range of martial arts classes for children and adults from Yeovil and the surrounding villages of South Somerset.
Wessex Internet sponsored the club earlier this year, helping to provide some much-needed funding for a new sprung floor for martial arts training.
Last month six students from the club travelled to Kemer, Turkey for the prestigious ISKA World Championships 2022 to represent Team England, returning with an impressive haul of medals including three world champion titles.
Visiting the club this week, the Wessex Internet team were proud to receive a commemorative ISKA World Championships bronze medal from Sensei Joe as a thank you for the support they have given the club.
