Wessex Internet 1000th Customer Milestone

Local superfast Internet provider Wessex Internet will be celebrating attaining its 1000th customer at a VIP reception which is being held at The Grosvenor Ballroom in Shaftesbury later in February. The lucky 1000th customer will be announced and will receive an outstanding prize of a year’s free internet! They will benefit from the top package with 50Mb speeds and a massive data allowance. What’s more, after the free year they can keep this top package and just pay for the package they initially selected.

Wessex Internet says, “At the VIP reception we will also be holding a prize draw for 3 recent new customers who will each get 3 months free Internet and we’ll announce other prizes for invited guests on the night. Wessex Internet was founded in 2010 and became a commercial enterprise in September 2012. Since then the business has experienced rapid growth both in its customer base and the geographic area it serves. From a standing start of 4 masts overlooking 3 villages and with just 2km of trenched fibre, the business has grown to serve 66 parishes, with over 130km of ploughed fibre and almost 100 masts, poles and points of presence on high buildings.

Last year all customers were surveyed and the business achieved an industry-leading Net Promotor Score of 81, which proves tremendous customer satisfaction. In addition, customer speed tests proved that Wessex Internet had the fastest network of its kind in the UK.
